Delivery
UK deliveries use Interlink Express standard next day by 3.00 service. Delivery to other European countries is within 48 hours. Orders received by 12.00 noon will be dispatched on the same day for delivery by 3.00 pm on the next working day. Orders received after 12.00 noon will be dispatched on the next working day for delivery the day after. Our warehouse is open for business Monday to Friday except bank holidays. Orders are processed for delivery on a first come, first served basis unless a dispatch date is specified. Every effort will be made to meet specified dispatch dates, however we cannot guarantee dates will be met in every case.
We do ask that deliveries are signed for. If there is no one available to receive the package and the couriers are not able to complete the delivery they will leave a card explaining how to pick up from the nearest depot.
This website is intended for the use of customers from the UK, Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands. In addition to domestic deliveries we can also arrange for delivery to your overseas addresses and to your friends abroad. Christmas Delivery
The last order day for deliveries before Christmas is Wednesday, 22nd December 2010, our offices will be open on the 29th, 30th and 31st, with normal deliveries resuming from 4th January 2011.
Products
Prices, sizes and capacity quoted are for guidance only. Emile Henry reserves the right to vary specifications as circumstances change and without prior notice. To speed up dispatch and reduce the risk of breakage, we include pack quantities and would request, that where possible items are order in multiples of these quantities.
Returns & Credits
We hope and expect that you will be completely satisfied with your order. If for any reason you are not completely happy please return your purchases within 30 days of delivery, in unused condition and complete with packaging. Regrettably we are unable to exchange goods unless they are returned in unused condition and in their original packaging. Returns and goods ordered in error will be subject to a handling change of 10% if not returned within 30 days of invoice date. A returns number must be obtained from our Customer Services department before returning goods to either of our warehouses. All breakages and discrepancies must be notified in writing to Customer Services, Chomette Dornberger, 307 Merton Road, London, SW18 5JS or by email (as above) within seven days of receipt of goods with full details of defective items, otherwise no claims can be entertained. Claims for items not ordered in pack quantity broken in transit will be rejected.
Order Acknowledgement & Acceptance
When you place an order online we will automatically send you an order confirmation email. Our acceptance of your order is not complete until we have picked the products for dispatch and sent you a dispatch confirmation email. If for any reason we are not able to complete your order we will also contact you be email and any payment made for the order will be refunded in full.
Order Cancellation
Under the distance selling regulations you have the right to cancel your order with seven days of receiving your delivery.
Vat & Duty
All prices are inclusive of VAT. On orders for delivery outside the UK (with the exception of the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) we exclude VAT. Where there are local import taxes and duties to be paid, these are generally payable on delivery. In any event Emile Henry accepts no liability for the settlement of local import duties and taxes.
